Hey there! Happy 1st Day of June and Happy Pride Month! I want to share some news and a bit of an update, but this will be fun when we get to the exciting parts.

Today I was going to plan to draw my latest Kaleo Fox Webcomic and post it today along with the 1st Toon June 2025, unfortunately, this may sound too personal to say, but I was busy with church in the morning, and a hangout with two buddies of mine from my university I studied at, with a dinner at the end of the day. In two days, they will leave for France and Spain. I’m both equally amazed and jealous because I wish to go to any of these countries, but they will be working at a summer camp in Spain! So proud of them who finally made their hopes on gaining that experience come true! ^^ It’s not easy to teach English abroad as well as handling a real summer camp as a counselor, but I wish them luck as always. ;)

On the other hand, I know this is repetitive, but I am about to say this again: I am still in the process of trying to find part time jobs and internships out there in the summer, career-wise, with my last light of hope. I can’t wrap my head around how the job market is doing, but I may be wrong. There’s always competition in the job market these days, and I’m quite aware, because I typically don’t get responses back from companies I applied to, and in rare cases, I would finally land in a job to earn money and experience. And if nothing works out soon, then I don’t know what I should do to earn more income for sure, but we’ll see.

And it’s not just today that contradicted with my drawing plans. It’s also my mental health I am facing, because I am trying to cut down internet addiction, as it is not easy to handle. I also want to have time to finish and tweak my story for the first Kaleo Fox strip show, and set up a new art raffle, to celebrate my 500 followers milestone on Bluesky!

On the bright side, here is some exciting news!

By the way, speaking about Bluesky, I FINALLY REACHED OVER 500 FOLLOWERS!! ✨ I will be making a post about this with an art raffle on the side. I am also planning to add membership tiers to my Patreon, with new visual touches (so no square sized images get parts top and bottom cut out), and that goes to updating a bit of my Ko-Fi membership tiers. And regarding the pilot episode of the planned comic Kaleo Fox - Strike Out, I wasn’t sure how good my story would stand out, but I hope this will give me what I wanted to build my comic. But if any of you are writers with a 1-3 years experience, and especially those who critique on my works, feel free to send me a DM, if you want to take a look at it. I’m willing to hear any suggestions!
